Conquest Frontier Wars Game Guide (for the less experienced player).

I am using Terran race as an example for this guide.
First build your economy up. Build harvesters, lots of them.
Terrans need ore - harvesting ore.
Celearions need gas - harvest gas.
Mantis need crew - build buildings that harvest crew from planets.
Those are the races basic needs, but remember to harvest other resources as well.
Build Refineries on planets that have ore and/or gas. Do not build harvesters on planets that only produce crew. Only build a Refinery on a crew planet, if there are no another planets nearby, and if the crew planet has lots of asteroids or nebulas around it.
Don't build Headquaters on every planet.
Watch your command points. If it seems you are nearly out of command points, build a sensor tower, it will provide 10 CP (command points). Headquaters provide 25, but they are too expensive.
Before a battle, watch out how many systems there are in the game. If you are playing: 3 humans vs 3 computers and you have 12 systems, basically everyone has 2 systems.
Explore to the second system and look out for any wormholes that it has. Build your defence platforms near those wormholes. Build a supply platform on the nearest planet so the defence platforms are supplied. It is very easy to destroy a player that doesn't have defence platforms.
When you are building those defence platforms, build a shipyard and keep those upgrades running. Build more shipyards, if you have resourses you can keep building those ships. Keep an eye on resourses and CP.
Use your Infiltrator to explore. When you develop the Cloaking Research use it on the Infiltrator and explore systems where the enemies are. Use their Ping ability, then you'll know when the enemy is atacking your system, or moving his/her forces.
When atacking the enemy, atack in force. Do not use just one Missile Cruiser. You should use Admirals with large forces. Benson is good, because she provides a good shield bonus to your ships. Concentrate on one enemy at a time. Don't split up your force, because then they need lot of attention. Remember, you must also concentrate on your resources and keep your shipyards busy. If you atack enemy and succeed or loose the battle, you won't have enough reinforcements to replace your lost ships if you forget to build them. In the end, you'll have lots of resourses but no ships. This is a waste of time!
When atacking a system, you should attack a system, that you can easily defend. Look if there is another wormhole. If there is, is the wormhole controled by the enemy or your allies or is it unexplored? Are you out of ore, gas or crew. Can you build a supply platform near that wormhole and then defensive platforms. Remember, they will want their system back after you take it.
If it's impossible to build defensive platforms near wormholes, use an Infiltrator to explore around and beyond the wormhole. Even if you have Ion Canons, you can't atack, if you cannot see the enemy. Mantis Hive Carriers or Tiamats can easily destroy your platforms at a long distance and you cannot even fire a single shot.
When atacking the last enemy system (usually the home system) you should go carefully, use an Infiltrator to explore the system. Why? The enemy usually places mines all over that system. Try moving around that system, with your Deadnaughts, without the Aegis Shield. They'll all be destroyed, not very funny.
When you see those enemy mines (the Infiltrator can see those), use the Battleships' Tempest Charge to destroy them, they are very good at that. When atacking the enemy's buildings, try to ignore enemy ships. Destroy shipyards and headquaters, refineries and so on. After you destroy all the enemy's headquaters and fabricators in that system, and there is not another wormhole that has the enemy's allies jumpgate or their own jumpgate, they cannot provide any ships for that system. The enemy's system supplylines have been terminated.
